SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) -- Two of basketball's greatest Olympic champions are entering the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame together.

The Dream Team that won the 1992 gold medal and the 1960 U.S. team that featured Jerry West and Oscar Robertson will be enshrined during ceremonies Friday night.

Larry Bird and Magic Johnson were among eight players from the famed 1992 squad who attended a morning press conference. Michael Jordan wasn't there, but is scheduled to be at the ceremony at Symphony Hall.

Dream Teamers Karl Malone and Scottie Pippen also are being inducted as individuals.

Speaking for the 1960 team, West said he played on what he considered ``the greatest amateur team that ever played.''
