Fort Wayne, IN (October 28, 2008) - The NBA D-League’s Fort Wayne Mad Ants will be holding auditions for two high-profile positions on the Mad Ants in-game presentation staff, Public Address Announcer and On-Court Emcee. Auditions will be held on Monday, November 10 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Individual auditions will start at 2:30pm.

The Public Address Announcer will be the voice of the Mad Ants for all 24 home games. Duties for this position include announcing starting line-ups, making public address announcements throughout the game, announcing all game action, announcing contests, and keeping the crowd excited throughout the game. In addition to an interview, each applicant will announce a simulated Mad Ants game.

Qualifications for Mad Ants Public Address Announcer:

• Strong vocal talent
• Spontaneous and quick witted
• Unique and definitive personality
• Must have strong knowledge of NBA D-League basketball, including rules and players, and have the ability to work with NBA D-League referees and statisticians
• Must feel comfortable announcing to crowds of over 5,000
• Must be able to attend all Mad Ants home games and arrive two hours before game time

The second position is an On-Court Emcee for the many on-court and in-arena activities that take place during Mad Ants’ home games. The On-Court Emcee’s duties will include hosting a pre-game show that will be broadcast in-arena, hosting all on-court contests held during timeouts, entertaining fans throughout the game and more. Auditions for On-Court Emcee will include an interview and a mock game where each applicant will host an on-court contest.

• Must be able to attend all Mad Ants home games and arrive two hours prior to game time
